841’s 5-Star wheels are pressed from one solid block of aluminum. Forging is a process that aligns the grain size and direction of the aluminum into its most perfect configuration making it up to 2.5 times stronger than machined or extruded aluminum. This also allowed us to make the wheels significantly lighter than traditional full core wheels, resulting in about 2 ounces of weight savings on a pairs of wheels.
